Ingredients:
Pancake Batter:
1 Cup of Flour
1 Tbsp Cocoa Powder
1 Cup of Milk
1 Egg
3 Tbsp of Sugar
2 Tsp of Baking Powder
2 Tbsp of Oil or Melted Unsalted Butter
Pinch of Salt
Milk Chocolate Chips (we will be adding these when we are cooking the pancakes)
Decoration:
Steps:
Let’s make our pancake batter. In a bowl, combine all the wet ingredients together. In a separate bowl, combine all the dry ingredients together.
Combine the dry ingredients with your wet ingredients.
Add a dash of vegetable oil (or butter) into your pan and have it on low heat.
Scoop a ladle of pancake batter into the pan. Take a small spoon and scoop a little bit of pancake batter to make the 2 ears.
Add your chocolate chips on top of the uncooked batter (add to your liking).
Use some pancake batter to cover the chocolate chips. This will help make the flipping less messy, as the chocolate chips won’t melt on the pan, and the pancakes will also have a chocolate filling.
Once, all your pancakes are cooked, it’s time to decorate.
Melt milk chocolate and draw a vertical oval in the middle of the pancake.
Take melted dark chocolate and draw 2 circles on top of the vertical oval. These will be Brown’s eyes.
Use melted dark chocolate to draw an upside-down triangle, a line straight down, and 2 diagonal lines for the mouth.
