Rilakkuma Chocolate Chip Muffin Recipe

 

This is a very easy and simple chocolate chip muffin recipe. Here is how to create these Rilakkuma chocolate chip muffins.

Ingredients:

I have attached links for some of the ingredients that I used below.

  • 1 Egg

  • 65ml Milk

  • 80g Sugar

  • 60g Melted Salted Butter

  • 1/2 Tsp Vanilla Extract

  • 1 Cup Flour

  • 1 Tsp Baking Powder

  • 1 Tsp Cocoa Powder

  • 1/2 Cup Chocolate Chips

Decoration:

*6 cup muffin pan

Steps:

  1. Preheat oven to 350F.

  2. In a bowl, mix all the wet ingredients together (egg, butter, milk, sugar, vanilla extract)

  3. In a separate bowl, mix all the dry ingredients together (flour, baking powder, cocoa powder)

  4. Combine the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients. Once combined, add in your chocolate chips, and mix until everything is combined.

  5. Take your muffin liners and place them in the muffin pan.

  6. Evenly divide the batter into the muffin liners.

  7. Bake the muffins at 350F for 8-10 minutes or until your muffins are cooked.

  8. While the muffins are baking, let’s make Rilakkuma’s features.

  9. Let’s melt our dark chocolate and white chocolate.

  10. Draw 2 circles on parchment paper using melted dark chocolate. These will be Rilakkuma’s eyes.

  11. Take melted white chocolate and draw an oval. Take melted dark chocolate and draw the little nose dot for Rilakkuma.

  12. Put the parchment paper into the freezer and wait for 15 minutes, or until the chocolate hardens.

  1. Once the muffins are cooked, let them cool off.

  2. It’s time to decorate. Take your chocolate eyes & nose and on the back, add a little bit of melted chocolate and stick it onto the muffin. The melted chocolate acts as our glue and will help the chocolate pieces stay on.
