Air Fryer Winnie-the-Pooh Grilled Cheese Sandwich
I love making a classic grilled cheese sandwich in the air fryer. This sandwich is yummy and super simple to make. The soft melted cheese with a crunch from the toast makes such a great duo. You only need a few ingredients to make this grilled cheese sandwich. Here is how to create this Winnie-the-Pooh grilled cheese.
Ingredients:
I have attached links for some of the ingredients/items that I used below.
2 Slices of Bread
2 Slices of American Cheese
Mayonnaise or Butter (I am using mayo)
Steps:
Cut the shape of Winnie-the-Pooh out with parchment paper or aluminium foil (make sure that Winnie-the-Pooh is small enough that you can trace out 2 using just a slice of cheese).
Place the Winnie-the-Pooh-shaped parchment paper/aluminium foil onto a slice of cheese and trace out the shape with a toothpick (trace out 2). We will use the leftover cheese for the grilled cheese.
Take your seaweed and cut Winnie-the-Pooh’s eyes, eyebrows, nose, and the arch above the nose. You can look at the picture below as a reference.
Preheat your air fryer to 370F for roughly 3-5 minutes.
Take your seaweed decorations and place them on top of the Winnie-the-Pooh cheese. Set these aside, as we will be using them later.
Take a slice of bread, and spread mayo or butter on just one side. Do the same for the other slice of bread.
Line your air fryer with aluminium foil for easier cleaning.
Let’s now create our sandwich.
Take a slice of bread. The side with the mayo will be touching the aluminium foil (the side with mayo will be on the outside, while the side with nothing will be on the inside facing the cheese).
Take your 1 whole cheese slice, and the leftover slice that we used to make Winnie-the-Pooh and place it on top of the bread. Take the other slice of bread, and place it on top. The side with the mayo will be on the outside.
Air fry at 370F for 4 minutes.
After 4 minutes, flip the sandwich and toast for another 2 minutes.
Once the grilled cheese is toasted. Take it out and place your Winnie-the-Pooh cheeses on top and it’s ready to be enjoyed!
