Easy Rilakkuma Oreo Truffles
Oreos and cream cheese go so well with each other. This is a very simple Oreo truffles recipe. This no-bake Oreo truffle is super delicious and easy to make. Here is how to create these Rilakkuma-inspired Oreo truffles. You have to try these cute Oreo truffles.
Ingredients:
115g Oreos
60g Cream Cheese
100g Milk Chocolate Chips
Decoration:
Steps:
Crush your Oreos. You can use a food processor or place your Oreos in a Ziploc bag and crush them into crumbs.
Mix your Oreo crumbs with your cream cheese.
Scoop 1 Tbsp of the Oreo/cream cheese mixture and roll them into a ball. Place it on top of parchment paper. Continue until all the mixture has been used.
Place the Oreo Truffles into the freezer for about 15 - 20 minutes.
While the truffles are in the freezer, let’s make Rilakkuma’s features.
Draw 2 circles on the parchment paper using melted dark chocolate. These will be Rilakkuma’s eyes.
Take melted white chocolate and draw an oval. Take melted dark chocolate and draw the little nose dot for Rilakkuma.
Put the parchment paper into the freezer and wait for 15 minutes, or until the chocolate hardens.
It’s time to coat the Oreo truffles. In a bowl, melt milk chocolate. I am melting the chocolate through a double boiler. Take a saucepan and fill it with 1/2 cup of water. Once it boils, turn your heat to low and place a heat-proof bowl on top. Add in your milk chocolate chips and consistently stir until the chocolate is melted and smooth.
This is my favourite part, take your truffles out of the freezer and dip them into your melted milk chocolate, covering the whole truffle. Place it on top of parchment paper.
After, take your chocolate decorations and place them on the Oreo truffle. Take 2 mini brown m&m’s and stick them on both sides of the Oreo truffle to make Rilakkuma’s ears. Continue until all the Oreo truffles are decorated.
Refrigerate your Oreo truffles for about 1-2 hours before you enjoy them!
